GLAZED COUNTRY RIBS
1/2 cup catsup
2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. molasses
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 clove garlic, minced
3 lbs. pork country-style ribs
For sauce, in a saucepan combine catsup, onion, vinegar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic, and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for about 10 - 15 minutes or until desired consistency, stirring often.
Trim fat from meat. In a grill with a cover arrange preheated coals around a drip pan for indirect grilling. Test for medium heat above pan. Place ribs on grill rack over drip pan. Cover; grill 1 1/2 to 2 hours or till ribs are tender and no pink remains, brushing occasionally with the sauce during last 10 minutes of grilling. Heat remaining sauce till bubbly; serve with ribs.
Makes 4 servings.
