TEAR MAKING MARINADE
1/2 lb. Jalapeño peppers, chopped
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 cup cilantro leaves
1 16-ounce can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1 Tbsp. lime juice
2 tsp. salt
Combine all ingredients in blender; blend about 2 minutes, or until mixture in finely pureed. Pour into jars and refrigerate at least 5 hours or overnight. To use as a marinade, pour over any meat and refrigerate at least 5 hours. To use as marinade, pour over any meat and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Can also be used as a basting sauce while grilling. Keeps in refrigerator 1 week.
Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
