Pawpaw Terry's Butter Baste

 

1 lb. pure butter
1 lemon cup up (rind and all)
1/3 bottle Lee & Perrin Sauce
1 box bay leaves
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. red pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp dry mustard
Tabasco to taste

Put all ingredients in sauce pan. Let boil. After setting several hours reheat and stir. Baste meat often.
