HORN BLOWING BBQ SAUCE

 

1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup beer or non-alchoholic beer
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. Montreal steak seasoning
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Cajun seasoning

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Use as a basting sauce while grilling.

Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
