MUSHROOM STEAK SAUCE
Great on steak, but can also be used on chicken
6 Tbsps. margarine
6-8 shallots, chopped
2 1/2 Tbsps all-purpose flour
1 (7-oz) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
pinch of black pepper
Melt margarine in a saucepan. Add shallot and saute' until transparent. Stir in flour. Cook and stir 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and pepper and cook utnil thickened.
Yield: 4 servings
