SIX WEEKS SLAW

 

1 large head, cabbage
1 large onion, sliced
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup cooking oil
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. Celery seed

Chop cabbage. Mix cabbage, onion, pepper and sugar in a large bowl. Bring to boil the oil, vinegar, salt, dry mustard, and celery seed. Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover and refrigerate. This will keep at least 6 weeks.

Makes 15 servings.
