THAWING FISH
To thaw fish, place the unopened package in a container in the refrigerator, allowing overnight thawing for about a 1-pound package.
If necessary, you can place the wrapped package of fish under cold running water for 1 to 2 minutes to hasten thawing.
Thawing fish at room temperature or in warm water isn't recommended, since the fish won't thaw evenly and may spoil.
DO NOT REFREEZE FISH!!!
